Two former Hoosiers will be heading up the road to Indianapolis and Lucas Oil Stadium for the NFL Combine later this month. Quarterback Kurtis Rourke and defensive lineman C.J. West were officially on the list of invitees that the NFL released on Thursday.

Rourke had an outstanding season for the Hoosiers in 2024 after transferring from Ohio University. He threw for 3,042 yards and 29 touchdowns. Rourke played 12 games for the Hoosiers and it was later disclosed that he played all season on a torn ACL which required surgery after the season. Rourke was invited, but did not play, in the Shrine Bowl.

Defensive lineman CJ West had a big year for IU after transferring from Kent State. He was a big reason why IU’s defense was second in the Big Ten in scoring defense. West made 40 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and two sacks in 13 games. West also stood out in the practices leading up to the Shrine Bowl.

A total of 329 prospects have been invited to attend this year’s event, which will take place in Indianapolis from February 24 through March 3.
