In a major recruiting victory, Texas A\&M has flipped four-star offensive tackle Samuel Roseborough, one of the top linemen in the 2025 class. Roseborough, who was previously trending toward powerhouse programs like LSU, Ohio State, and Florida State, announced his commitment to the Aggies on Monday, giving head coach Mike Elko and his staff a huge addition to their offensive front of the future.

Roseborough, a 6-foot-6, 310-pound tackle out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, is ranked among the top 15 offensive tackles in the country and holds over 25 Division I offers. Known for his elite footwork, long arms, and physicality in both run and pass protection, Roseborough has long been viewed as a future cornerstone at left tackle.

His recruitment had been a battle among several blue-bloods, with LSU and Florida State once considered leaders. Ohio State made a strong late push, but in the end, it was Texas A\&M’s renewed energy under Elko that sealed the deal.

“This decision wasn’t easy, but it’s the one that feels right,” Roseborough said in his commitment post. “Texas A\&M made me feel like family from the start, and Coach Elko laid out a clear vision for how I can develop and succeed both on and off the field. I’m excited to be part of what’s coming in College Station.”

Roseborough visited College Station in the spring and quickly formed a bond with offensive line coach Adam Cushing. The staff’s emphasis on rebuilding the trenches and providing immediate development opportunities for top-tier linemen helped sway Roseborough’s decision.

“They were honest with me, and they made it clear that I could come in and compete from day one,” Roseborough said. “That stood out. They’re building something big, and I want to be a part of it.”

This flip is not only a massive win for Texas A\&M but also a statement to the rest of the SEC that Elko’s staff is capable of landing premier national talent. Roseborough becomes one of the highest-rated commits in the Aggies’ 2025 class and a foundational piece in their efforts to re-establish dominance in the trenches.

For LSU, Ohio State, and Florida State, the loss of Roseborough is a blow, as each school was in strong position at various points in his recruitment. But it’s Texas A\&M that walks away with the big prize, adding a blue-chip offensive tackle who has the tools to be a future All-SEC performer and early NFL Draft prospect.

With the addition of Roseborough, the Aggies continue to rise in the national recruiting rankings and are gaining momentum heading into the fall. If this latest commitment is any indication, the future in College Station is looking strong—and the offensive line just got a whole lot better.
