Purdue Men’s Basketball has officially released its 2025-26 schedule, and it’s shaping up to be a season packed with marquee matchups, intense conference battles, and plenty of opportunities to build a resume worthy of a deep March run. Coming off a strong 2024-25 campaign, the Boilermakers are ready to test themselves against some of the nation’s best as they chase Big Ten glory and national title hopes.

The non-conference slate is loaded with high-profile contests. Purdue opens the season at Mackey Arena with a tough test against a rising SEC power, setting the tone for a challenging stretch. A mid-November trip to the Maui Invitational promises fireworks, with a potential clash against a blue-blood program in the semifinals. The Boilermakers will also take part in the annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge, hitting the road for a primetime showdown that could carry major implications for early rankings.

Back home, the atmosphere in West Lafayette is sure to be electric as Purdue hosts rival Indiana in a mid-season clash that always draws national attention. Add in home games against Michigan State, Illinois, and Wisconsin, and Mackey will once again be one of the most feared venues in college basketball.

The road through the Big Ten won’t be easy, with tough away games at Ohio State, Maryland, and Iowa testing the team’s resilience. Every night in the conference is a battle, but this year’s squad—featuring a mix of experienced returners and highly touted newcomers—appears ready for the grind.

“We’ve built this schedule to challenge our team at the highest level,” head coach Matt Painter said. “It’s about preparing for March, and these games are exactly what we need.”
