Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart continues to solidify his reputation as a premier recruiter, recently securing a commitment from Justice Fitzpatrick, the nation’s No. 3 cornerback prospect for the Class of 2026. Fitzpatrick, a four-star talent from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is the younger brother of NFL star Minkah Fitzpatrick. Standing at 6 feet, 0.5 inches and weighing 185 pounds, Justice chose Georgia over top programs including Florida, Texas, Miami, and Ohio State.
This commitment underscores Smart’s strategic emphasis on both national and in-state recruiting. In the 2025 recruiting cycle, Georgia has already secured commitments from four of the top 10 recruits in the state: No. 1 Elijah Griffin, No. 3 Isaiah Gibson, No. 4 Zayden Walker, and No. 6 Elyiss Williams. The Bulldogs are also strong contenders for No. 2 Justus Terry and No. 7 Chase Linton, potentially landing six of the top seven in-state prospects.
Nationally, Georgia’s 2025 class is ranked No. 3, featuring standout commitments like five-star tight end Elyiss Williams, who is the consensus top tight end prospect in his class. Additionally, the Bulldogs have flipped four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley from Florida State, further bolstering their offensive arsenal.
Smart’s recruiting prowess extends beyond high school prospects. The Bulldogs recently added Texas A&M transfer wide receiver Noah Thomas, who brings significant experience and production to Georgia’s receiving corps.
