LEXINGTON, Ky. — In a recruiting coup for Kentucky, three‑star wide receiver Dallas Dickerson announced his verbal commitment to the Wildcats on Tuesday afternoon, spurning finalists Georgia Tech and Oklahoma. Hailing from Bogart, Georgia (North Oconee HS), the 6‑foot‑1, 180‑pound playmaker brings impressive speed—clocked at a 4.42‑second 40‑yard dash and a 10.36‑second 100‑meter dash—as well as versatility to the SEC program .

According to Saturday Down South, Dickerson confirmed his choice via social media on June 24, saying “100% COMMITTED… ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart…’” . His recruitment included nearly 30 scholarship offers from major programs such as Cincinnati, Duke, Florida, Indiana, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, NC State, Oklahoma, West Virginia and Wisconsin .

A significant tipping point in Dickerson’s decision was his bond with Kentucky’s new wide receivers coach, L’Damian Washington. “Coach Washington thinks I could be one of the best receivers to ever go through Kentucky,” Dickerson told KSR+ . On3 echoed that sentiment, noting that relationships were “what ultimately led” him to Lexington .

Dickerson’s official visit to Kentucky in mid‑June sealed the deal. He also evaluated Georgia Tech, Indiana and Oklahoma but was drawn to Kentucky’s environment, calling the campus “felt like home” . He praised head coach Mark Stoops for articulating a clear vision: “Coach Stoops’ composure… he made it clear that Kentucky football is taking a step up” .

On3 ranks Dickerson as the No. 461 overall recruit and the No. 71 wide receiver nationally in the class of 2026
