Four-Star OT Commits to Michigan Wolverines.

The Michigan Wolverines have added a significant piece to their 2026 recruiting class with the commitment of four-star offensive tackle Marcus Templeton. The 6-foot-6, 300-pound lineman from Indianapolis (IN) chose Michigan over offers from Ohio State, Penn State, and Notre Dame, giving head coach Sherrone Moore another cornerstone to build his offensive line around.

 

Templeton, ranked as one of the top 15 offensive tackles in the country, made his announcement on Saturday via social media, posting a photo in full Wolverines gear with the caption: “This is home. Go Blue!” The decision comes just days after a successful official visit to Ann Arbor, where sources say he bonded quickly with Michigan’s coaching staff and players.

 

“The culture, the tradition, the way Coach Moore develops linemen—I knew this was where I belonged,” Templeton said in an interview following his commitment. “I wanted to go to a place where I’d be challenged every day and have the chance to compete for championships. Michigan is that place.”
