Johnson, rated as the No. 23 wide receiver nationally and a top-300 overall prospect according to 247Sports, announced his commitment to the Bulldogs on Saturday, giving Kirby Smart another electric playmaker for the future.
Standing 6-foot-1 and weighing around 185 pounds, Johnson brings speed, route-running polish, and competitive edge to the Georgia offense. Known for his smooth acceleration and reliable hands, he’s been a standout on the 7-on-7 circuit and has posted impressive numbers during his high school career. His ability to separate against tight coverage and make contested catches in traffic has drawn comparisons to current SEC stars.
Johnson chose Georgia over strong interest from schools like Tennessee, Florida State, Auburn, and Ole Miss.
