Report: Tottenham have spoken to striker who is faster than Victor Osimhen about replacing Harry Kane
Harry Kane’s departure from Tottenham Hotspur could be imminent.
The north London club have accepted a bid from Bayern Munich for their star striker, and now, focus needs to switch to who will replace Kane.
Tottenham, according to 90Min, are planning to intensify their search for a new striker and have spoken with four attackers about taking Kane’s place.
The targets Spurs have reportedly approached include Gift Orban, Aleksandar Mitrovic, and Jonathan David, but Elye Wahi may be the most intriguing.

In the past year, the young player has made a significant impact in Ligue 1, and in all honesty, he seems to be made for Ange Postecoglou.
Wahi was the joint-third fastest player in Ligue 1 last season, and according to The Speeds Database, he’s actually clocked a higher top speed than Victor Osimhen – one of the fastest players in Europe to say the least.
Wahi may be more of a Postecoglou striker than the England captain, even though he isn’t a striker in the same mold as Kane.
As much as we all love Kane, it has to be said that running in behind has never been his greatest strength, and in a Postecoglou team, a striker does need to have that burst of pace.
Wahi adds something to the table, and even though he’s not even close to Kane’s level of play, he does assist Tottenham in taking a bigger step toward becoming the team that Ange Postecoglou may have in mind for them in the long run.
From a technical standpoint, replacing Kane with Wahi is a step back, but this decision may make a lot of sense tactically.
