Graceson Littleton Commits to Texas, Choosing Longhorns Over Michigan.

The Texas Longhorns football program received a significant boost on the recruiting trail as 4-star defensive back Graceson Littleton announced his commitment to the Longhorns. Littleton, a highly touted prospect from Allen, Texas, chose Texas over several other top programs, including Michigan.

Littleton’s commitment is a major coup for Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian and his staff, who have been working tirelessly to build a strong 2024 recruiting class. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound defensive back is widely regarded as one of the top prospects in the state of Texas, boasting a rare combination of size, speed, and athleticism.

“I’m extremely excited to announce my commitment to the University of Texas,” Littleton said in a statement. “I’ve grown up a huge Longhorns fan, and to have the opportunity to play for my dream school is a dream come true. I’m looking forward to being part of the Texas family and helping to bring a championship to Austin.”

Littleton’s decision to commit to Texas was influenced by several factors, including the program’s rich tradition, the coaching staff’s enthusiasm and expertise, and the opportunity to compete in the highly competitive Big 12 Conference. He also cited the Longhorns’ strong team culture and the sense of camaraderie among the players as key factors in his decision.

“I feel like Texas is a place where I can grow and develop as a player and a person,” Littleton said. “The coaches are great, the facilities are top-notch, and the fans are amazing. I’m excited to be part of the Texas family and contribute to the team’s success.”

Littleton’s commitment is a significant boost to Texas’ secondary, which has been a focus area for the coaching staff in recent months. With his impressive size, speed, and athleticism, Littleton has the potential to make an immediate impact in the Longhorns’ defensive backfield.

“Graceson is an exceptional talent and an even better young man,” Sarkisian said. “We’re thrilled to welcome him to the Texas family and look forward to watching him develop into a dominant force in our secondary.”

As the Longhorns continue to build momentum on the recruiting trail, Littleton’s commitment serves as a testament to the program’s growing strength and appeal. With several other top prospects still considering Texas, the Longhorns’ 2024 class has the potential to be one of the best in the country.
